Welcome to this month's Blog Hop! I've got a cute Santa card for you that has been colored in with our ShinHan Touch Twin Markers. Using our markers to color your stamped images is so easy when you follow a few simple steps.

1. Use our black archival ink pad to stamp your image.
2. Set the ink using the craft heater.
3. Use grey marker to color areas you would like to add shading to. (For red inks)
4. Then fill in and blend colors as desired.

Close to My Heart Embossing Folders and Diffusers 101

Embossing folders are a great way to elevate your project. The latest addition to our embossing folder line are diffusers, which allow you to select a part of your card that will be left smooth after the embossing process to allow stamping.

Nevermore Birthday Cards Part One

As promised I have some cards today using the Nevermore Paper Packet from Close To My Heart. Generally speaking, I find it easier to create more feminine cards but this paper lends itself to create some great cards for the guys in your life! The gears are cut from the Artiste Cricut cartridge.

The shine on the gear is from Liquid Glass that was applied and left to dry.

Tags aren't just for gifts, they can be the perfect base for whatever occasion suits you! This "Celebrate" card is a standard A2 card, which means it is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

The tags are cut at 2 1/2"  from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and then stamped using the Pomegranate Ink Pad and Packages, Boxes & Tags stamp set. The dot "tag top" used is one of four options from this versatile stamp set and the line of hearts, one of three options, to create a border around the tag.

The dots and bow are stamped in Eggplant Pigment Ink and the "Celebrate" sentiment, (five great sentiment choices in this set), uses the Pomegranate Pigment Ink. Pigment inks sit on top of the paper keeping their colors rich and vibrant, which is just what I wanted.

Gold Foil Tape adds just a little shine for the occasion and hemp from the craft store finished these tags off, with the center tag popped up with foam tape.

Today I finally have my Zoe cards to show you. I had a lot of fun making these and I just love this Zoe paper! Coral Shimmer Trim, Aqua Shimmer Trim, Green Shimmer Trim, Glacier Extra Thick Twine , Grey Enamel Gems, Whisper Thick Twine, Gold Sequins, and Enamel Green Triangles finish everything off

and coordinates perfectly with the paper.
